    This year’s beneficiary is Audra Jean Tobias, of Lyons.  Audra is the mother of Tammy Henry, Kim King and Terry Henry, Jr. She and her family are facing the late stages of Alzheimer’s disease.  No strings will be attached to any funds raised, of course, as ‘wants’ inevitably become ‘needs’ at some point in battles such as this. Please consider the donation of, or the purchase of, a cake.  Please, follow these helpful suggestions:

            * prepare the cake in a plastic covered foil pan or place in a clear-topped cake box and deliver with the form, below, to the‘stand (new pavilion) after 10:30 am.  Please, leave your number on the CONTACT’s master list, in case there is any need to reach you. Silent auction bid cards will be available throughout the day until bidding closes at 8 pm.  Please plan to pay winning bids and pick up cakes by 8:30 pm, unless other arrangements are made.    You’ll make your payment directly to the care-giving family member.

Please leave the bottom portion with your donated cake and be sure to leave your contact number on the CONTACT’s master list.  Thank you, so much, for your efforts to help!

Cake Auction
​  An annual benefit begins Thursday August 6, during the annual All Wheel Cruise In.  This community effort is dedicated in memory of Chet, who passed away two years ago following a brave and courageous battle with cancer, found in five places.  Each year, a resident of the Lyons-Muir area, who faces the battle of their life, will benefit from this fundraiser.
