to everyone who joined in on the fun and the many local businesses who were open for the event:
VFW Post #4646...hosted the Christmas Cornucopia Brass Quartet and offered a dinner.
Lyons Township District Library, Friends of the Library and Library Board provided a perfect setting for Santa to visit and provided snacks and hot cocoa.
Lyons-Muir Historical Society was open for a walk thru the museum.
Lyons Baptist Church helped with the caroling.
Rick White for use of the truck to get the tree downtown, in the ground and decorated.
Lyon-Muir Fire Dept for providing a ride for Santa.
Lyons DPW for getting downtown ready for all the activity and the pre-event decorations!
Lyons Events Committee for pulling all the loose ends together!!
Everyone who brought down wreaths for the decorating contest.

The 2011 Village Tree has arrived! Special thanks to our locals who stepped up and helped out!!
Rick @ White's Painting & Tree Removal~ volunteered time and equipment to transport and set the tree in place.
Fred @ Kobera Enterprise~ volunteered with the locating and transporting the tree.
John Cook gave us a great deal on the tree from his property.
JB Lyvere, Bryon and Eli Bennett~ helped get the tree planted in the ground
and Sydney Kay Kobera who picked out the perfect tree this year!
